The American Bully is a companion breed exhibiting confidence, a zest for life, along with an exuberant willingness to please and bond with their family, thus making the American Bully an excellent family companion. Despite the American Bully’s fierce and powerful appearance their demeanor is gentle. They are great with kids, and extremely friendly with strangers, other dogs, and other animals. Human or dog aggression, extreme shyness, or viciousness is very uncharacteristic of the American Bully and is highly undesirable.

Children friendly

Bullies get along well with children of all ages! American bullies are one of the best examples of a perfect family dog. Loyal and loving. This makes them great family dogs, so you can rest assured that you’re not putting your children at risk by bringing one into your home.

Easy to train

Bullies love to please their owner which makes them easy to train. Of course, you'll need to put in som work and make sure you stay consistent with training them, but you'll find that this intelligent breed is a breeze to work with!

Easy going

The American Bully is an adaptable breed who can be easy-going and gentle at home and energetic and active while outside! They are general relaxed and calm but can get amped up when its playtime.

Personality

This is a smart, loving dog who wants to please his people in every way. The American Bully is loyal, devoted and steadfast temperament. They take well to training and are very intelligent. Bullies are a confident breed but have a tiny heart.

General information

The establishment of today’s American Bully and the breed’s early fundamental development began in the mid 1990′s in the United States of America via the efforts of several dedicated breeders and their vision and goals of creating the ultimate family companion.


The American Bully breed evolved only through careful and selective breeding of various bull breeds in a program designed to place an emphasis on maintaining a loyal, devoted and steadfast temperament, while enhancing desired physical characteristics. As a breed, the American Bully is celebrated for its exceptional loyalty and devotion to its family members. The ideal temperament of an American Bully is very stable, dedicated, confident and is that of an exceptional family companion. The ideal American Bully thrives on pleasing its owners, is highly intelligent, very trainable and capable of performing many tasks and posses diverse abilities. The modern American Bully can be seen today excelling in many areas in society, such as Therapy Dogs and Working Dogs. Physically, the perfect American Bully is athletic, yet powerfully built. The American Bully has a solid, well defined muscular frame that gives the impression of massive strength as well as athletic ability. Males are characteristically stockier and heavier boned than females. Their lifespan is between 10 and 14 years. 

Health

American Bullies are an overall healthy breed. But there are still some problems here and there, as it is a fairly new dog breed. To better the breed and built a strong foundation we health test all our dogs at least on Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, Patella Luxation and they will get DNA Health Tested through EMBARK. 

Care

American Bullies must have plenty of regular exercise to relieve mental and physical energy. Some dogs need more exercise then others, so it really depends on the dog you have how much exercise they need. Many Bullies enjoy playing and will spend much of their time in various activities. It’s highly recommended to go to a dogschool with your dog to socialize them and get them to know the basic commands.

Feeding

We recommend to raw feed you American Bully. They amount and what they is different with every dog. We feed our dogs raw meat, herbs, fruits and vegetables. There are also some high quality kibbles available for people who don’t prefer to feed raw.

Grooming

American Bullies are fairly easy to groom and need only an occasional brushing to keep their coat healthy. They are average shedders. The smooth, short-haired coat is easy to groom. There are plenty of herbs available that help your dog to keep an excellent coat condition.
